Just for fun, because my sister is due any day now!

I suggested Crucifissa Grin but I can't think of any normal ones.

Easter/Eostre? [helpful] Grin

Annunciata

to quote
Annunciata \a-nnuncia-ta, ann(un)-ciata\ as a girl's name is of Italian origin, and the meaning of Annunciata is "announcement, notice". Allusion to the Annunciation, when the Virgin Mary learned she would be Jesus' mother. Sometimes given to a girl born in March, the logical month for such an announcement.

Pontius Pilate
Barabbas

hmmm the Russian word for resurrection is Vaskrisheniya (no idea how to spell it in English)

but I don't know what Anastasia means, so might mean something similar

PelvicFloorClenchReminder · 25/03/2013 23:07

Fred or Judy? From Easter Parade. It's a bit of a tenuous one!

ShrewveTuesday · 25/03/2013 23:07

The Russian one is Anastasia - means 'resurrection'.

LandofTute · 25/03/2013 23:00

I like Christina too

Annunziata · 25/03/2013 22:02

Oh Christina is beautiful!

Jesus delivered my Ocado order last Easter.

[happy sigh]

Astley · 25/03/2013 18:53

It's Anastasia stella it means resurrection.

But after Fifty Shades of Grey no one in their right mind would use it right now!

KittenOfDoom · 25/03/2013 18:52

Maundy. There was someone with this name at my school.

StellaNova · 25/03/2013 18:50

Christian
Sunday
I'm sure there's a Russian one like Natasha for Christmas but I don't know what it is.

Easter bonnet - hat -milliner- milly!
Bit of a stretch?

FreedomOfTheTess · 25/03/2013 11:16

Joshua - the English form Yehoshu'a, which would have been Jesus' actual name. (Jesus is another English form, through the Greek Iesous, which comes from Yeshu'a, which is a contracted form of Yehoshu'a).

Mitchy1nge · 24/03/2013 22:18

I think baby should come on the 26th and be named after Magdalena Morano

Mitchy1nge · 24/03/2013 21:24

da wikipedia: Pasquina, Pasqualina, Pasquala, Pasquetta, Pasquita, Pascala, Pascalia, Pascalina, Pascuccia, Anna Pasqua, Maria Pasqua, Pasqua Rosa.

Annunziata · 24/03/2013 21:15

Warren is quite clever! I wouldn't make the connections.

I quite like Magdalena.
