We've had a little girl and struggling to find the perfect name. We have two boys already, George and William.

Our short list is :-

Poppy
Ivy
Matilda
Annabelle

Which do you think is best and any other suggestions would be appreciated.

TIA

lol at suggestion of georgina! EH! George and Georgina! Is your Dad George Foreman?

LeslieWink1e · 20/03/2013 11:57

Annabel or Juliet go well with William and George
Don't like Poppy, but Penelope would go with William and George and you could use Poppy for short. Just Poppy is not enough beside William and George. I like names to go too. It's not a foolish idea.

Elizabeth? Victoria? Mary? Anne? Margaret?

Georgina
Georgia
Georgette
Wilhemina
Willa
Willow
Willette

SMILE:)

I am being facetious, but why do the names have to "fit"? In your place, I would go for a lovely name that I liked. Good luck!

Indith · 20/03/2013 11:33

From your list Matilda. Any traditional names would fit really but does it matter if it doesn't "fit"? Name your dd to suit her not her brothers :).

My boys are William and Arthur. Dd is Margaret but mostly known by the diminutive Daisy (when not called Mouselet).

I like Poppy. George William and Poppy.

twolittlemonkeys · 20/03/2013 11:30

Out of your choices I'd go for Matilda. But other traditional girls names would work well with George and William, eg Charlotte, Eleanor, Lucy, Catherine, Emma...

cavell · 20/03/2013 11:26

I thought Lucy, too.

Or, from your choices, Matilda. Annabelle at a push.

Moominsarehippos · 20/03/2013 11:24

Lucy. Is this a Famous Five thing?

MummyNoName · 20/03/2013 11:22

Poppy or Matilda.

Emma?
