Girls names to go with George and William

We've had a little girl and struggling to find the perfect name. We have two boys already, George and William.

Our short list is :-

Poppy
Ivy
Matilda
Annabelle

Which do you think is best and any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Haven't read all the replies, but with William and George I would say Clara, Eliza or Luisa.

Of your names I think only Matilda works IMHO.

Ha ha - Alison that's really funny... My brother is William George and I was very nearly Martha!! They went with Francesca in the end... Not such a tidy fit! ;)

Eliza. Another nice, trad name but shortened to be sweet for a little girl.

I have a George - my favourite name on your list is Matilda. We also have a Harriet (Hattie) which seems to be quite popular on this thread, and a Jemima. actually those 3 go well, George, William and Jemima!

I would have suggested Alice, Catherine/Katherine, Victoria, Isobel or Elizabeth.
Out of your list, Matilda is the best fit.

Congratulations. I have a Poppy and George. I've noticed that Poppy doesn't go down that well on MN but in real life I get loads of lovely comments about her name and when George was born people said the names went together nicely. :-)

And I thought Clara . . . before I saw your favs . . all ok but Poppy doesn't 'go' with the boys names as well as the others - imo but if you love it go for it

Well I have a George and an Alfie and our dd is Matilda. We have a big book called George and Matilda mouse so they obviously go together!!

We have very similar taste! We've used one of your boys names (as a middle name) & had dc2 been a boy we would have used the other. As it is,bump is a girl & we are planning to use Matilda (with Grace as a middle name).

So I would (obviously!) say Matilda :)

I like Annabelle best of your choices, Rainbow - then Matilda, then Poppy and I don't really like Ivy at all.
