And said, "you have seven seconds to name this child," what would your off-the-top-of-my-head response be? (Besides, obviously, wondering who this loon passing a baby around is.)

Today, Helena.

But my 'go to' name is always Martha. So maybe Martha.

Is it for me? If so, Mara. Or Caitlin.

If not, Katya, which I love but doesn't go with my surname.

Thankyou headfairy we love it :)

Also Eliza, Meredith and Astrid were all names on our list for dd.

weegiemum · 21/02/2013 15:43

No-one ever going to do that to me again, but my girls were Katherine and Rachel within seconds.

I also love Charis, Hope, Louise/a and Elaine.

Harper. DP wouldn't allow it though. In fact, he wouldn't allow it before the Beckham's used it and definitely wouldn't allow it afterwards.

So we'd go with Seren, which I seriously love Smile

lambbone · 21/02/2013 15:41

Meredith

Minty82 · 21/02/2013 15:41

Susannah, at the moment. Which wasn't on the list at all when I was expecting DD less than a year ago, so we'll see if it's in the running if and when DC2 happens...

almapudden · 21/02/2013 15:41

Theodora

That's a surprise, it's not even on my list! Just popped into my head :)
