I like Raven. For a boy- not even for a girl. Blush

And Wolf. I don't think I could name a child that, but I love the nn Wolfie!

Thor. Don't think it'd work out in real life.

Aphrodite. Again, love the name Blush

Rune. I just love the name for a boy!

Btw, I wouldn't EVER name my child Raven (for a boy), Wolf, Thor, Aphorodite or Rune. But I still love them.

Does anyone else have any guilty pleasure names?

Atticus for a boy, love love love it. But it rhymes with our surname (unusual itself), so it's not to be.

Danger. As a middle name.

Lottapianos · 18/02/2013 12:18

Lucifer is a really cool name!
I like Myra but would never use for obvious reasons.
Also Tori as I'm a huge fan of Tori Amos but in UK people would just think I'm a hardcore member of the Dave and Gideon club and I would rather die!

Convert · 18/02/2013 12:14

Tiger. I really wanted to call DS1 Tiger.

BuntyPenfold · 18/02/2013 12:13

Halcyon

TheYamiOfYawn · 18/02/2013 12:07

Jocasta. And (and it obviously goes without saying that I would never use it) Lucifer.

ShowOfHands · 17/02/2013 09:21

I'd happily use some of these.

I LOVE Bodhi. Like the look of it, like the meaning, sound etc. But out loud it sounds American Jock. His BFFs would be Brady and Carter. Not my kind of thing sadly.

skratta · 17/02/2013 09:10

I love Ariadne, Zephyr, Orion, Dawn, Storm, Star and yes, Sharon. I like a LOT of names.

OP posts:
Thumbwitch · 16/02/2013 11:37

Jasper
Zephyr
Ariadne
Evadne
Cecily - less "out there" but the repercussions if she should have a lisp!

AlwaysHoldingOnToStarbug · 16/02/2013 11:35

I like Raven for a boy too.

I always loved Orion, but DH wouldn't even let me use it as a middle name.

And I still love Ptolemy, and sometimes wish I was brave enough to have named DS5 it!
