Help!! Rowen or Freya?

I'm an awful mind changer. I change my mind about everything!! We had decided on Rowen for our baby girl but a friend recently mentioned it in a sort of I-don't-like-that-name sort of way. This is precisely why we didn't want to tell anyone as I don't want anyone poo-pooing it. So we also like Freya but it is so popular (no.25). So, do you like Rowen? Do you like Freya? Am I being silly about popularity (how many Freya's do you know?) any alternative suggestions please?? Thank you!!

I like them both, though think I prefer Freya tbh. I have never heard Rowen as a girls name, only heard it as a boy (Rowan), but I do think it us a nice name! I know 3 Freyas (one is 30, one is 9, one is a baby) and no Rowens.

If you prefer Rowen, just go for it!

Prefer the Rowan spelling, really cool name. Neither love or hate Freya. Don't let the cats bum face put you off a name you love, different strokes for different folks and all that Smile

I prefer Freya tbh. I know 2 both aged around 14years old.

Rowen is OK I know one aged about 45.

Well - there's a RowanMumsnet, but no FreyaMumsnet, if that helps.

I like them both, but if you like Rowan, stick with it and ignore the nay-sayers.
