I have a 2 yo Saskia so I'm biased... to me its a strong feminine name without being too flowery.

I'm having b/g twins and our favourite boys name is Eli! So I think it goes very well Grin

wiltingfast · 06/02/2013 19:27

Juno! Love it :) would use it but does not work with our surname. Think it's marvellous and goddess like!

Not keen on saskia at all.

YouCantCallItIt · 05/02/2013 21:47

I like both....not much help!

ChopinAndChopSticks · 05/02/2013 14:36

Oh I think I prefer Juno. Very unusual choice.

HillBillySillyBilly · 26/01/2013 21:38

Oh and yeah Sassy is a very cool nickname!

saskia for me. the only juno i "know" is juno temple and her name suits her perfectly (not that i know her personally!) both seems to be bright quirky individual names that arent just following the crowd - actually i just talked myself into liking juno a bit more than i did Grin

catladycourtney1 · 26/01/2013 19:10

I prefer Juno. In fact, I considered it for my dd but I don't think I'd dare. Please use it, for me :) haha

herecomesthsun · 26/01/2013 19:05

Hmm Sassy would be a nickname with a positive connotation (apart from sounding a bit like an item of Boden clothing)

StrawberryMojito · 26/01/2013 19:01

I quite like Saskia. I love Juno.

HillBillySillyBilly · 26/01/2013 15:59

Grin @ do you know.....I have thought of that but I don't think it bothers me enough to reject the name on that basis. I'm glad you think they both go nice with Eli.

Juno wins for me.

Sunnysummer · 25/01/2013 22:41

Love them both so much! Would be on my shortlist if we were having a girl :) initially I liked Juno best, but got put off a bit after a friend (with a surname that's also a noun!) had one, and lots of people joked about it sounding like 'd'you know?". It's still a lovely name, but agree that Saskia might be easier to live with, and has more nickname options depending on her personality. Either is great though.

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 25/01/2013 22:40

To some extent, nice as it is to have a name ready, sometimes when you see your baby for the first time, one name seems just right.

Both go nicely with Eli. Smile

Purely my gut reaction, Saskia to me sounds outgoing, fun, arty. Juno sounds more grounded, independent, once her mind's made up that's it. Sorry that's of no help to you at all!

Thanks for all the comments, though it seems pretty evenly divided. Both sound lovely with our surname so that doesn't narrow I down. We have one ds already called Eli. I think both names sound nice with Eli....wdyt??

Sad I thought Juno was a boy's name Blush

VikingLady · 25/01/2013 21:07

Juno. I may in fact steal it for a future dd Grin
