We have to bear in mind our local accent (Medway)....but...

  1. Alice Liberty or...
  2. Elodie Isla

I suppose also derivations of these i.e. Liberty Isla, or Elodie Alice might work too, whaddya think?

Elodie is very pretty

legallyblond · 19/01/2013 08:01

I say choose Alice! 40 year old accountant called Elodie... Not so much. Alice anything - great!

NowPlayingZone · 19/01/2013 01:13

Elodie Alice sounds nicest & least common.

Be aware that there can be a negative connotation with the name liberty, the phase 'taking a liberty' is quite popular amongst young people i've heard frequently it from kids as yound as 7. It would be something that I think would put me off, but i'm probably just being over cautious! Love the name Alice its just one of those were you can't go wrong :-)

forgetmenots · 17/01/2013 21:51

Isla Liberty sounds like 'isle o liberty'.

I like Alice Elodie. Agree that Elodie will end up Ellie if it's first name.

Yika · 17/01/2013 20:13

I think I prefer Ella Delilah. :)

mathanxiety · 17/01/2013 02:13

Sweet names all. I like Alice Elodie best. I think Elodie is likely to get shortened to the ubiquitous Ellie.

ellesabe · 16/01/2013 23:43

I really like all those names.

The only vague issue might be people mishearing Elodie Isla as Ella Delilah.

Yika · 16/01/2013 23:20

I am obviously in a small minority because I really like Liberty. I also like Alice v much (it's my DD's middle name) and I like the combination of the two. Liberty Alice rolls off the tongue better than the other way round, but Alice is better as a first name.

I agree with Frikadellen about liberty isle.

ukfirestorm · 16/01/2013 19:21

thanks

Don't do Liberty Isla it is to close to Liberty Isle

I would do Elodie Alice I dont think Elodie Isla rolls very well on the tongue. and whilst I dont mind Alice it is not one I would use as a first name personally

LPplusOne · 16/01/2013 06:13

Another one for Elodie Alice - really lovely. Also like Elodie Rose, but just a bit less than EA.

ukfirestorm · 15/01/2013 23:16

I love Elodie (thought I might be biased) but not too keen on the others - sorry. How about Elodie Grace? Elodie Nicole? Elodie Rose. I think Elodie and all of your options are too sing song... just my opinion though :)

fishcalledwonder · 15/01/2013 23:08

Elodie Alice is lovely. Definitely the best combination. Sorry, but really don't like Liberty.

redspottydress · 15/01/2013 23:08

Should say her initials are ELA_.

Elodie Alice is my favourite combination.

forgottenpassword · 15/01/2013 22:04

Elodie is beautiful and more unusual than Alice. I like Elodie Rose.

thegreylady · 15/01/2013 22:00

Alice Elodie or Elodie Alice
I really like Isla and am less keen on Liberty.
