really like the name but not heard of anyone else called Nyla. what are your opinions?

There was a Nyla in my class at school. She was of Indian origin so I assume that's where the name comes from?

I know a Nyla, she's a lovely wee girl , but I always think it seems like a bit of a "made up" name. Not in an offensive way at all, I just don't think it sounds "right"

Got a niece called Ayla - lead character in the Earths Children series by Jean M Auel. Suits her :-)
