What do you think for a boy, it's biblical and means healer which I like!

My daughter went to nursery with a boy called asa - he was a very handsome popular boy - I think it's a lovely strong name - only ever heard of it as a boys name

I thought of the Swedish girls' name too.

Um, just because it isn't currently popular for babies, doesn't mean it's not a common name.

I know a few Jewish boys called this.

ConfusedandBemused · 22/11/2012 22:42

Just googled it and its not in the top 100 girls names in Sweden, so not that popular, plus its pronounced Orsa anyway so that's not really a concern.

I misread your thread title as Asda at first glance, sorry! Blush
