Ds3 born last Friday.

We have no name.

We have ds1 and ds2 called Alfie and jack, so it needs to suit/match their names.

I love Michael-but it's my brothers name
I love Thomas-also my brothers name
I love Dylan-dh doesn't
Like Harry-but too like Alfie
Like Ben-I think

Any suggestions?!?
Please?!?!

Benjamin is perfect Smile

jaffacakehips · 17/11/2012 22:55

First name that I thought off was Sam.

Ben is also lovely.

I know brothers called Harry and Alfie, can't see the problem Smile

Good luck and congrats on new DS

BoysBoysBoysAndMe · 17/11/2012 22:52

Think it's going to be Ben (Benjamin)

Would love Michael but dh is completely against.

Would like Daniel too but he doesn't look like a daniel(though he's only a week and hasn't even uncurled yet!)

Thanks for the replies.

Also like theo, but worried I'll go off it.

Boys names are so tricky!!

My DD is Edward, known as Eddie.
I also liked Harry, Jack, Oliver and Zachary. I kind of like more modern names like Harley and Mason too.

JustFabulous · 17/11/2012 19:46

Alfie, Jack and Sam is what came to me.

We were like this with DS2. In the end we went for Tom (not Thomas) could you do that?

Michael is lovely and underused or how about Mark?

My other suggestion is Jonathan nn Jonny.

sausageandorangepickle · 17/11/2012 16:00

Thomas Michael - so names for both your brothers, and Alfie, Jack and Tom sound lovely together.

The Alfie I know has brothers called William and Oscar, and the Jack I know has a brother called Daniel (Daniel is older, and there is a sister in between so it doesn't sound like the drink)

EdwardtheEagle · 17/11/2012 08:50

William?

PeachTown · 17/11/2012 08:49

Ben! Lovely (and my DN's name).

Longtalljosie · 17/11/2012 08:45

Toby?
Joshua?
Leo?

I like Ben too, hate Danny but like Dan/Daniel.

Pourquoimoi · 17/11/2012 08:43

I know someone with an Alfie and a Harry, it never occurred to me that they are too alike.

Figgygal · 17/11/2012 08:42

Ben is lovely.

Also, Max, George, Sam, Edward (just because I love the nn Ted), Henry, Alex

Kt8791 · 17/11/2012 08:26

Charlie would go really well. Also like Harry, Ben and max. Love the name Noah but not sure if that would go?

AThingInYourLife · 17/11/2012 08:25

None of the names suggested in the OP are "matchy matchy", they just sound good with names she already has.

I love the name Michael. I'm sure your brother would be honoured :)
