...and you just cannot stand? Still early days for us but before we knew DD was a girl, DH came up with Tennyson for a boy. I thought he was joking and just laughed, but he was serious. Is there hope for this poor DC?! We've already had the 'no to Tennyson' conversation just to get it out of the way!

My dh suggested Paula for dd2!!! I got my way in the end though!

My OH has come up with Renee and Victoria... Confused Sorry to any Victoria's but no child of mine will be called Sticky Vicky. And If we called her Renee I could never say her name in anything other than a dodgy Allo Allo french accent. What was he thinking?!

DH suggested the name Rupert for DC1. I laughed. He got a bit huffy and I realised he was serious. DC1 turned out to be DD anyway.

I don't have a massive problem with the name, just always associate it with the bear.

Rhubarb, my DH came up with Alison, Samantha and Julie. All perfectly fine names but date his school decade very neatly.

The only name dh suggested was Alison. I think he'd been listening to goldfrapp at the time.

DH has a penchant for names like Billy Bob, Bobby Ray etc.
My answer was Just No.

Thankfully we came up with a realistic and lovely name by the time DS2 was born. Grin

My DH wanted 'Leon' all the way through my first pregnancy. Which I don't like but is fine as a name I suppose... Except it was also our very grumpy neighbours name.

Thankfully it was a girl.
