People make assumptions of someone based on their name. For that reason I personally wouldn't use it.

Of course it's her choice, however it is still a common sounding name! Op was asking for opinions on the name, not permission to call her dc something.

I do think the kindest thing a parent can do is give a child a name that isn't wacky. Just something simple which can grow with them - they can always have a more interesting nickname or pet name.
