I love the name Mckenzie-blue. What does everyone else think of it xxx

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Inneedofbrandy · 23/10/2012 01:20

I like Tallia or Tyga but will keep Tyra in mind! It will be another T name!

MrsRhettButler · 23/10/2012 01:20

Grin @ Bessie!

Inneedofbrandy · 23/10/2012 01:19

Well we must both have excellent taste then, much more then the likes of Sophie and Catherine lovers!

I really need to go to sleep

MrsRhettButler · 23/10/2012 01:18

Also, if you ever find yourself having another dd, can I suggest Tyra as a name that will fit sooo well with your names? I wish dp had let me use it :(

MrsRhettButler · 23/10/2012 01:16

Thank you brandy I know a beautiful Tianna and would you believe me if I said Tayon was the name I had in the running for both dds if they had been boys! I've loved that name forever! No k names either! Wink
Both really lovely names and fuck anyone who thinks otherwise :)

Inneedofbrandy · 23/10/2012 01:05

Oh your dcs name are beautiful mrsR Grin

Inneedofbrandy · 23/10/2012 01:04

Argh extra words came out on my last post.

Clary · 23/10/2012 01:04

The only McKenzie I have ever met is a girl.

HTH

(by the way her surname is frequently a first name which is rather confusing if her name is written backwards (as it will be on registers) - think Taylor James/James Taylor etc.

Inneedofbrandy · 23/10/2012 01:03

Ah I feel nervous with the scrutiny! It's Tianna ( before princess and the frog came out!) and Tayon. Tayon will make a excellent judges me if that's what he wants to fucking be! even if I got the name idea of Maury an changed it slightly

Bessie123 · 23/10/2012 01:03

Is his Dad called Keith??

SabrinaMulhollandJjones · 23/10/2012 01:02

There's a McKenzie in my dd's class. Dd tells me he's very naughty Grin

Bessie123 · 23/10/2012 00:57

[smug]

MrsRhettButler · 23/10/2012 00:54

Now that ^^ is the type of comment that is helpful on a baby name thread. name meanings are important imo.

Bessie123 · 23/10/2012 00:48

I'm so sorry not to have read the whole thread; it's quite long by now. Has anyone told you that the name 'Mackenzie' means 'son of Keith'? I'm not sure it's an appropriate name for anyone unless they are a little boy with a dad called Keith...

MrsRhettButler · 23/10/2012 00:48

No brandy, nickname was suggested by old bag for dd1 who's name begins 'An', dd2 is a Kaiya. Not my choice although its grown on me, (and suits her) I wanted Tyra. Dying to know your dc names btw!

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 23/10/2012 00:42

I like it. But with Mackenzie. And Blue. And Blue as the middle name.

Inneedofbrandy · 23/10/2012 00:40

Is it kiayna? I'm guessing since you said the old bag said nickname her Annie,

MrsRhettButler · 23/10/2012 00:37

My dd2 has a 'k' name. It would have been a 'T' name if I'd won the arguement with xp but hey ho, I was actually giving birth when the name was decided (he took advantage) so there we are, poor 'k' named dd2...

MrsRhettButler · 23/10/2012 00:33

She could well be Aire, I've had a little too much brandy so I'm in the mood to argue anyway Grin

I just wish people could be opinionated without being rude on these threads that's all.

Inneedofbrandy · 23/10/2012 00:28

Ah but cleopatra would be chavvy ESP with a K LOL

airedailleurs · 23/10/2012 00:28

I think the OP is joking...

MrsRhettButler · 23/10/2012 00:28

I've outed my dds name before brandy, I try not to do it too much because I've only ever met one other child with her name and that little girl was named after her!

I'm sure your dds name is beautiful, not many names are actually ugly imo.

MrsRhettButler · 23/10/2012 00:24

Agree with brandy too, sooo many kids have 'different' names now its not going to be such an issue in 20 years time.

Ptolemy's ok though isn't it? Oh yahhh Ptolemy would defo be a high court judge Hmm

Ptolemy would probably 'rebel' and do loads of coke... (Honestly no disrespect to any Ptolemys out there, its a lovely name I'm just making a point)

Inneedofbrandy · 23/10/2012 00:24

Make sure Catherine is spelt with a c not a k after all Katherine would be chavvy here being a k name!

Mrs r sure your dc name is lovely I love Hebrew names. I have a friend called Effron which means singing bird in Hebrew and I think it's lovely.

ExitPursuedByAaaaaarGhoul · 23/10/2012 00:23

But why ask if you don't want opinions? Names mark people out. People will judge. Tis they way of the world.
