As above really. DD is a few days old now and we are not sure which one to choose.

Any feedback is welcome. I'm pretty sure I like Iris best. DH likes Honor.

Nell (helena on the bc) or Honor

Iris also nice

not so keen on Saskia

never mind your dh though - what do you love most

ShhhhhGoBackToSleep · 09/10/2012 14:35

I love Nell.

LexiLoganberry · 09/10/2012 14:30

I like Nell.

Houseworkprocrastinator · 09/10/2012 14:24

I like iris the best. The others a nice too but nell just makes me think of nelly the elephant but that might just be me :)

spaghettina · 09/10/2012 14:10

and congraulations, by the way! :)

spaghettina · 09/10/2012 14:10

I like all except Nell, which to me is too much of a nickname. Agree with Helena or Eleanor(a) as full name then go with Nell for nickname.
But I prefer Iris, Saskia and Honor in that order. It also depends what goes best with your surname...

MerylStrop · 05/10/2012 15:34

Have never watched TOWIE, so no assocs for me

MerylStrop · 05/10/2012 15:33

All gorgeous - you can't go wrong
In order of pref for me: Honor, Saskia, Nell, Iris (only because Iris is more popular round here)
If want Nell, have Helena as full name (beautiful)

MolotovBomb · 05/10/2012 15:30

Nell. My DD1's name is very close to it, but I didn't think of it as a name when she was born in 2009.

The look and sound of Nell is lovely. That's what I'd go for :)

Congratulations on your new baby! Thanks

Felicitywascold · 05/10/2012 15:29

I've only ever met 'old money' Saskias, it doesn't sound even slightly TOWIE to me.

I'd choose it.

Saskia Nell is nice to my ears.

Then probably Iris.

Not keen on Honor. -unless you are American?

PropositionJoe · 05/10/2012 15:26

Ah, ok
don't use it then!

CakeBump · 05/10/2012 15:18

And Honor the name is spelled correctly.

CakeBump · 05/10/2012 15:17

I read Nell as Neil and though (well obviously not NEIL fgs!!) Blush :)

I like Honor the best.

Or Neil, on second thoughts....

pennyhill · 05/10/2012 15:15

Honor or Iris. Not very helpful! But I love them both.

squoosh · 05/10/2012 15:09

I've only ever seen it spelt Honor when used as a name.

PropositionJoe · 05/10/2012 15:08

Please spell Honour properly if you use it.

squoosh · 05/10/2012 15:06

Although Rembrandt's wife was a Saskia, she was his model for a number of paintings so it's not all tacky associations.

MadBusLady · 05/10/2012 14:55

Honor. Beautiful strong, elegant name, and with a bit of crowbarring nickname can be Honey which is cutesy and sweet, so you get both!

Kelerina · 05/10/2012 14:47

My favourite is Nell, then Iris. Really dislike Saskia and Honor

onlyaname · 05/10/2012 14:42

Yes Saskia is a bit Towie, I had an odd feeling about it and couldn't work out why. I think that must be what it is. Not really sure on my second favourite now though!

DH likes Nell after Honor.

squoosh · 05/10/2012 14:26

Oh yeah, Saskia is a bit TOWIE isn't it? It's a bit of a 'I'm dead classy me' kind of name.

Poor Saskia.

telsa · 05/10/2012 14:16

Saskia and Nell are both fabulous. Honor is unusual and has a good sonorous ring to it. Iris is ho hum.

EllenParsons · 05/10/2012 13:44

Saskia or Iris, both lovely.

Not keen on Honor especially spelled without the u and Nell is too much of a nickname IMO though I do really like it for Eleanor.

DialMforMummy · 05/10/2012 13:43

Honor, Honor, Honor, never had a girl, never will and readily sorry I was never able to consider this name.
Iris is fine. I agree that Saskia is bit TOWIE.

MoonHare · 05/10/2012 13:32

Iris followed by Nell. Not keen on Honor and really dislike Saskia sounds a bit TOWIE to me.
