What are the names of other babies you've met?

What names seem to be really popular among other babies in your area? Are there really lots of Isobels?

I have an Amelia. Was gutted when it came out as no 1 girls name for 2011 but funnily enough we don't know any Amelia's and there are none at her preschool, nursery or any if the classes we do. Weird!

George and Isla are the most popular within my group of friends (different sets) with there being 3 of each.

Under 1's I know are Cara, Emma, Evie, Mya, Ryan, Riley, Henry. I don't actually know any with the more 'popular' names such as Amelia, Emily, Isobel, Olivia!

With DS (now 4) it was Oliver and Niamh
With DD (nearly 1) it is Amelia, Amelia, Amelia and Daniel

I keep hearing lots of Evie's and Grace's and even both!

I do have a little cousin Isobel but she's the only one I know Smile

Yes the few I've met recently have been Sophie too. It is such a cute name - I wonder whether they'll all mind when they grow up? I had a best friend with the same name as me when I was a kid and actually rather liked it.

I don't have friends or family with babies so my experience is very limited but my next door neighbour has a Sophie and the girl the other side has just had a Charlie, there is a Sophie opposite us too.
