numptymark1 · 27/09/2012 00:12

the cool boys were Jonny and Jay
all the other boys were called Lee (slight exaggeration there)

the cool girls were

Jemma, Jackie, Claire, Natalie & Alice ( but Alice was a bit posh, and only really cool because she was friends with Claire & Jackie)

IHeartKingThistle · 27/09/2012 00:09

Karen, Natasha, Vicky. I hated them all.

manicinsomniac · 27/09/2012 00:07

My school was quite polarised (almost American High School 'types')

The kids who were 'cool' because they were terrifying (streetwise types) were:
Emma, Donna, David, Andrew, Jamie, Lyndsey, Kerry, Ryan, Carl, Claire, Nicola, Shaun, Shane and Helena

The kids who were 'cool' because they were sporty, fairly bright and generally nice kids were:
Amy, Sarah, Laura, Hannah, Helen, Beth, Emma, Joanna, Rebecca, Andrew, David, Alistair, Ben, Michelle, Angela and Paul

The kids who were 'cool' because they were 'alternative''/artsy were:
Sarah, Daniel, Robert, Amy, Rebecca, Michael, Craig, Fiona and Douglas

I honestly can't remember who the cool kids were as I had nothing in common with them! But as we were born in the 70s all the girls were called Claire, Emma or Jo.

MichaelFinnegansWhiskers · 26/09/2012 18:52

Hannah, Louise, Judy.

All cool to the point of coldness. Ugh.

Gugglebum · 26/09/2012 18:47

Ciara x2, Nancy, Sara, Ines, Annika
Sheldon, Sean, Mark, Bobby

BeattieBow · 26/09/2012 17:22

in secondary it was Mark and Jo(anne). and Paul and his sister Philippa. or Pip as I believe she was known. I wasn't cool.

I don't think anyone was cool in primary.

dimdommilpot · 26/09/2012 17:17

Toni-anne and natalie were the girls
James and matty (mathew) were the boys.

HerRoyalNotness · 26/09/2012 16:44

At girls secondary they were, juliet, susie, Emma, kyla, Sonya, felicity, Rachel, Tiffany, alannah, Natasha. Quite a bunch!

thunderpantsjenkins · 26/09/2012 16:40

.... but most of these are no longer very cool, however there were lots of quieter types and geeks who are now very cool and they have names like Rob, David, Andy and Lucy.

thunderpantsjenkins · 26/09/2012 16:36

Michelle, Nicky, Vicky, Donna, Lisa, Jo, Emma, Kate/Katie, Jo.

Mark, Matt, Dan, Nick.

FelicitywasSarca · 26/09/2012 16:16

Lizzie, sammy, Lisa... Michael, David, Ross

Hmm thinking about it don't think their particular brand of 'cool' would stand up to todays yoof!

delilah88 · 26/09/2012 16:13

Sara, Emma, Danielle, Emma, Tasha. These kids weren't what anyone would think cool now, but they were big tough bullies who everyone was scared of.

MolotovBomb · 26/09/2012 16:09

Girls = Katie, Lisa, Heather and Emma.

Lads = Chris, Ben and Ian.

FWIW, I went to a shit secondary school ...

Stila · 26/09/2012 11:57

Spencer & Neil
Emma & Erica

TidyGOLDDancer · 24/09/2012 13:49

Ooh this one had me wracking my brains.

We had the 'popular' girls of Leah, Karly, Alexis and Chloe. Wrt the boys, I guess Gary, Andrew, Martin and Ashley.

This thread has reminded me how vague some of my memories are!

Tingalingle · 24/09/2012 13:24

Rosalind
Samantha
Sandy

ExitPursuedByABear · 24/09/2012 13:23

Although I am not sure 'cool' had been invented when I was at school.

They were the girls I wanted to be.

And the boys I wanted to be with.

ExitPursuedByABear · 24/09/2012 13:23

Jill & Sara
Warren & Darrell

Houseworkprocrastinator · 24/09/2012 13:19
