We're still seeking inspiration. Can you give me your absolute favourite girls name - just one - never min whether it goes with siblings or surname or is too posh or dh doesn't like it. I'd just love to know everyone's favourite. Maybe we'll be inspired.

Sadie

I absolutely love it but doesn't go with our surname, & we have a Jude so would be a bit silly! Please use it OP! :)

(but I adore Hephzibah (nn Eppie) too - after the character in Silas Marner, one of my favourite books ever.)

I once knew a lady called Happiness, which I love.

Esme
( Effie is a very close 2nd )

Kellywestie · 20/09/2012 23:16

Maya and India. Loved them 10 years ago and still love them now. DS would have been one of them with middle name Rose had he been a girl.

janji · 20/09/2012 23:10

cocog · 20/09/2012 23:10

Ines/ Inez

elinorbellowed · 20/09/2012 22:32

Tansy.
I wanted this, but DP said it wasn't a 'real'name. We went for something similar but more familiar instead.

krystianah · 20/09/2012 22:29

Elspeth. A very underused Scottish version of Elizabeth. Runs in my family as a middle name.

MissBetseyTrotwood · 20/09/2012 22:10

And Robyn.

MissBetseyTrotwood · 20/09/2012 22:09

Constance.

Whitamakafullo · 20/09/2012 21:59

Ava. It's my DD's name, but has become rather popular these days!

If I was to have another DD she would be Alice or Isabella

wildpoppy · 20/09/2012 21:35

We have a Constance (Connie) already.
I love Clemency but dh not sure.
Toying with Stella.
Like Catherine a lot but is it our very best name?
I did love Annie but gone off it a bit.
