We're still seeking inspiration. Can you give me your absolute favourite girls name - just one - never min whether it goes with siblings or surname or is too posh or dh doesn't like it. I'd just love to know everyone's favourite. Maybe we'll be inspired.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

If I'd had a DD aged 25 (around 2001) she would have been Florence.

If she'd been born in around 2007 she would have been Evelyn Lyra, nn Evie.

DD born this year and if I'd had my way she would have been called Ramona or Meredith, middle name Jane. DH didn't like either of these so we went with one of my other favourites which luckily he liked. 2 middle names, one of which is Jane.

I also love Stella but we already have an Ella in the family.

quirrelquarrel · 19/09/2012 18:14

Oh and Esmeralda. :) and Lydia.

catwoo · 19/09/2012 18:10

Rosemary is gorgeous, but unfortunately wouldn't have gone with our surname

Future daughter's name: Kate Isobella Anastasia Helen ....

Benefits of Kate: Recogniseable, solid, beautiful. Can't believe no-one else has mentioned it.

I love Catherine, but it is in the family and if I ever used Catherine I would be deemed a copy cat.

DesperatelySeekingSedatives · 19/09/2012 17:59

Lily. I've loved it since I was a little girl.

Psammead · 19/09/2012 17:29

Dancehall - good job it's a forum then Grin I reserve the right to roundly ignore any instructions I don't feel like following at the time.

If I had to choose from my list, I choose Rosemary.

FergusSingsTheBlues · 19/09/2012 17:27

Cecily. Not allowed as my husband think its pretentious :(

If this was an exam question, or for a job interview, a lot of you would have failed.
