DD is Honor and so I need something that goes with that. I'd thought of my girls names for her sister but it turns out I'm not going to get to use them! I like Gus but am not keen on Angus or Augustus & wouldn't use an abbreviation as birth certificate name. Would really welcome suggestions as I'm feeling a bit unimaginative. Somehow there seems to be more choice for girls!

These were all names I had on my list for DS2:

Gabriel
Sebastian
Elliott
Benedict
Felix
Dylan

I also like Freddie, but DD's godfather beat us to it, and another family member got Rory which I think would be great with Honor Grin

schplappo I have an Honor. Our list for a future DS is:

Lawrence - I agree Larry isn't great.
Jamie
Hugh
Hamish
Kit
Fraser

My family are Scottish, hence the Hamish and Fraser.

James, Joseph, Magnus, Ambrose, Cornelius, Hector, Arlo......

Hmm, thanks everyone. I like Felix, Gabriel, Lawrence (but Larry - ugh!).

Theo was my favourite for first pregnancy but have gone right off it (although now DH, who didn't like it before, says he does...).

Don't think I could call a child Endeavour. I like the explorer connotations of Ranulph but not the name so much.

We already have Peter, James & William in our family so they're off the list.

I like Max but not sure it sounds right with our surname.

Boys names are definitely harder than girls!

I like Augustine but think it might be a bit too much...

Gustopher made me laugh out loud so I'd better not use that!

I like Gustavo as well but I know DH won't agree to a foreign name.

Baby not yet here - but definite from the scan...

Hadn't thought of Fergus for Gus so thank you. I'm not fixed on Gus at all (in fact, not totally sure it works with our surname) so really open to all suggestions!

Augustine
Gustave or Gustavo
August
Gustopher
Fergus
Fergusson
Gustek
Gustin

Any of theses?

Fergus? Did the baby arrive a boy or did you have a scan?
