Eliza. It was my gran's name. I know one other in real life, she'd be about 7 or 8 now.

ceeveebee · 11/09/2012 23:44

Eliza. My DD's name too. It was 62nd on the 2011 survey so not that popular yet.

Lisax3 · 11/09/2012 23:43

Eliza. Love that name!

Beamur · 11/09/2012 23:42

Eliza. Erica is making a few appearances on these threads at the moment.

Lisax3 · 11/09/2012 23:41

Eliza. Love that name!

Mum8 · 11/09/2012 23:27

Eliza, more unique in my eyes!

twooter · 11/09/2012 21:19

Love both, well done, you have good taste!

Oooh I feel all protective over my name now Grin

I like it with a K because then the letters aren't all small when you write them... But then I have synesthesia so it might be that... Nahhh its just an awesome name.

NoToastWithoutKnickers · 11/09/2012 20:53

SirGOLDBoobs I'm an Erica Grin (Only ever come across one other.)

Eliza is lovely.

Purplecatti · 11/09/2012 18:46

I thought Eliza was a shortening of Elizabeth

mynameis · 11/09/2012 18:33

Eliza - my dd is one and I don't know any others (yet)

necoma · 11/09/2012 18:25

Eliza

HiHowAreYou · 11/09/2012 17:21

I like both but I think there are quite a few Elizas about, so I'd choose Erica myself.

randomimposter · 11/09/2012 17:13

Eliza for me by a long way. But Erica with a C if you must!

CPtart · 11/09/2012 17:04

Erica. There are far too many Eliza's nowadays.

Pernickety · 11/09/2012 16:54

Yes, erica with a c does look better.

MikeLitorisRings · 11/09/2012 14:56

I have an Eliza (22mo (

Don't know any others IRL.

If you go for Erica I would spell it that way.

stillstanding · 11/09/2012 14:55

Both lovely. Eliza is my current favourite girl's name. Definitely spell Erica if you go that way.

Pernickety · 11/09/2012 14:54

I like them both. I liked Eliza for DD1 10 years ago but was worried about it being shortened to Liza (which I wouldn't worry about now) Eliza is becoming more popular. I think Erica/ is a great name for both a child and a grow-up woman. My vote is Erika.

MoonHare · 11/09/2012 14:41

I LOVE Eliza and would choose that, it's high on our shortlist if DC3 is a girl. If though you decide to go with Erica - I'd spell it that way.

Ham69 · 11/09/2012 14:27

Eliza is much softer and prettier in my opinion.

SirGOLDBoobs · 11/09/2012 13:57

Erika is a much better spelling Grin Its my name, I love it, and have never met another "Erika", and only a handful of "Erica"'s.
