Few pointers

I LOVE Noah but dh has major issues with it.

I like the look of luca/s but think it sounds really ugly when spoken.

Likewise love Jude & Jacob but they sound really harsh with my accent.

I have a unnatural dislike of the name Samuel (no idea why)

I can't stand trendy Aidan/Jayden/Connor/Reece type names

I also don't like old men Seth/Archie/Henry type names.

Not keen on the middle of the road Michael/Matthew/James/Daniel type names.

Is there any hope for me? :(

I just need one name I love.

Also apologies for everyone who I may have offended, this is of course only my opinion.

We have 3 daughters - our boys names would have been Leo, Dominic. Noah was on my shortlist but my husband wasn't fussed at all on it.

What name did you end up using puremince?

OP posts:
Adviceinscotland · 31/08/2012 18:49

I think she still would have been called baby boy Grin

3dd's later we have still never agreed on a boys name and I'm thinking this will be the time we need one.

Caleb was on our short-list and we are definitely not chavvy!! If you love Jacob, then Caleb is the same type of name (Old Testament), and sounds similar. And it goes with Lea.

What would Lea have been called, if she'd been a boy?

DessieLou · 31/08/2012 14:12

You sound like me but with girls names! I like Caleb and wouldn't say it was chavvy at all. What does your other half think to it? Baby naming would be so much easier if they didn't have an input!
So many boys names I love.....

Hope you find something you love. Smile
