Teal for a girl?

Thoughts please?

Obviously there is the Abney and Teal connection, but I don't think it's overly associated with that, and it's a nice little programme anyway.

I know someone called Teila (Teal-ah) I think it's nicer.

I think of it as a gun dog name, along with Snipe, Widgeon and Mallard.

It's a duck. That was my first thought. I would not name my child after a duck. They are cute ducks (twitcher tendencies), but even so. Ducks poo a lot.
I would prefer Blue, Azure or Turquoise.

You may be interested to know that there were five baby girls named Teal in England and Wales last year.
