The thread on grandmothers names has given me loads of inspiration for DC2, so I'm now looking for the same for male names.

Mine were William and Ronald
DH were William and Harry

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Mine were John & Clayton. Both of which I'd use if we had a boy.

EBDTeacher · 24/08/2012 19:59

Arthur and, wait for it.. Christmas. Some Welsh valleys thing apparently.

TooImmatureTurtleDoves · 24/08/2012 13:25

Peter and Graham. DH's were John and Harry. The only one I'd consider using is Peter and only so I could legitimately nickname the child Wolfie

NotGeoffVader · 24/08/2012 10:17

Henry and William.

GGF's were Joseph, William, and 2 James'.

JustPondering · 24/08/2012 10:13

James/Jimmy and Wilfred

Hans is pronounced Hons btw

rowingdowntheriver · 24/08/2012 10:10

James and Hans.

Hans was Dutch and he never knew if Hans was is full name or if it was a shortening of Johannes. Everyone just knew him as Hans.

dottygamekeeper · 24/08/2012 10:08

Albert John and Clement Ralph (who has just passed away at the grand old age of 103)

firefly4400 · 24/08/2012 10:06

Gavin (Welsh) and Edward (known only as Ted).

WookieWoo · 23/08/2012 06:49

Charles Walter and Gordon

Charles is my nephew's middle name and we considered it for both if our sons but it didn't seem to suit them.

Dh's paternal grandfather was Kenneth. No idea about his maternal grandfather as no one seems to talk about him!

Chinsup · 22/08/2012 23:50

shockers my Grandad was was from south Wales but never knew why he was called Lodwig - it was very different to the style of his 8 siblings' names. Pre internet he never found a trace of the name though Googling it now there seems to be quite a few people with it as a surname. He said he got into many, many fights as a boy and refused to let me give my son it as a middle name. (I used his surname instead, we were very close Smile).

Sarahplane · 22/08/2012 22:56

Stanley and James.

TheOriginalSteamingNit · 22/08/2012 22:54

Dollydowser · 22/08/2012 22:52

Edward, Horace, Ernest and Jack.

BrokenBananaTantrum · 22/08/2012 22:46

Wilf and Cornelius. I thinl these are quite cool and if I had a DS would consider using these :-)

McKayz · 22/08/2012 22:38

confusedpixie · 22/08/2012 21:08

JamieandTheOlympicTorch · 22/08/2012 17:29

Mine were Victor (Vic) - which I think is a cool name

and Robert (Bob) - who I never met

DHs were

Haydn (Welsh) and ????

mickeylou · 22/08/2012 14:47

Mine were Robert (Bob or Bobby) and James but known by his middle name Clifford (Cliff)

DH's were Harry and John.

I love the name Bobby but as I already have a Billy I think it would be a bit much!!

33goingon64 · 20/08/2012 14:45

Joseph and Horace. DH's GFs were Albert and Tom.

DS is Thomas Joseph.

poppy283 · 20/08/2012 14:20
