I think I like old fashioned names - anyone care to share what their grandmothers/great-grandmothers were called.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Cecilia Agatha
Mary - called May for short as she was born in May!

nenehooo · 14/08/2012 12:13

Mine were Mary Jane - and she was staunch Irish Catholic! Known as May - on the other side Edith Maude - known as Pat all her life and we only found out her real name when she died!
What is it with Grandmothers giving themselves different names?!
