Final two ... Hopefully !!!

Brewing ds1 (dc2) already have a Phoebe .

Final two names are:

Jacob and Gabriel

What do you prefer ?

That's for England and Wales though . I'm in Scotland name trends are completely different here .

They are both lovely names, as you can see lots of nice comments for both. Think Gabriel is a bit less common (if that's even a consideration)

Loads of Jacobs where I live. It's starting to be the name where you definitely are going to get called by your surname as well, as there's likely to be 2 or 3 in a class.

Also don't like what it means.

I only know one Gabriel. Lovely name.

I like them both very much, but Jacob is so much more popular... Gabriel edges into the lead for me.

Both nice and go well with Phoebe. But Jacob definitely has the edge.

It's funny I think there is such a huge difference in name popularity according to geography . I don't know any Jacobs or Gabriels .

I do know of one Jake though but that doesn't count !! Grin

Where I am there are loads of Gabriels and very few Jacobs, but that's no use to you, sorry!

I much prefer Jacob though

Gabriel - gorgeous name. I know 3 of varying ages (baby - adult) and theyre all lovely. There are sooo many Jacobs and various derivatives of the name around.
