Philippa, Venetia, Sophia, Felicia or Ophelia?

What do you think?

This is DH final choices and I have been left to decide what do you all think?

Middle name nearly decided and will begin with M

Thanks so much everyone. I am not sure I can shake the sad tale associated with Ophelia either. I think Sophia is quite popular in this area as well so that might be going down the list. All very tricky this naming business!!

I really like Ophelia, but we didn't use it because of the suicidal/crazy lover associations!
Venetia makes me thinks of blinds or Vienetta ice-cream.
Love Sophia.
Felicia is OK. Prefer Alicia.
Don't like Philippa, but Pippa is cute.

In order of preference:

Venetia - nice. Vee is a nice nn (though the ones I know are called Neesh).
Sophia - nice, but less unusual than Venetia (could be a good or a bad thing)
Philippa - not so keen, feminised boy's name.
Ophelia - inevitable suicidal associations, also no good nicknames
Felicia - definitely not. Felicity however I do like.

OK, well, I like Ophelia and Felicia the most out of all of them (unlike everyone here it seems). We had those 2 names on our list . FWIW I prefer Felicity to Felicia though

Venetia and Ophelia are beautiful names. Sophia is lovely, but so overused. Felicia is a very interesting choice; pretty and fresh sounding. Phillipa does not appeal to me at all

Venetia - love it. V different (but not to everyones taste - so what!)

Sophia - beautiful but quite popular around here (4 out of 6 baby girls in my post natal group). But beautiful names are often popular....

Phillips - ok not as attractive sounding as the others

Ophelia - I really like this (but teenage boys might try "Oh feel ya")

Felicity is better than Felicia...

Phillila - it does actually mean ' lover of horses' I think. Pippa is lovely nn.

NFK yes I see what you mean about Georgette Heyer - adore her but DH clearly not so keen! Philippa would be after Philippa Garrett.

Venetia is too close to Venetian blinds!
Ophelia is very pretentious imo
Phillipa is quite horsy
Felicia is too close to fellatio

Sophia is gorgeous

Obviously all just my opinions!

I love Sophia. I'd stay well clear of Felicia and Ophelia for the reasons mentioned above, which is a shame as very lovely names. Venetia very beautiful. Philippa always makes me think of a daughter of Phillip in the same way as the lovely Nigella being daughter of Nigel Lawson seems a bit, well, egotistical on his part! (Aurelia??)
(or maybe I'm just sensitive as I have a crap first name )

They are all rather lovely. Like Georgette Heyer heroines. Favourites are Philippa, Sophia and Ophelia.

Thank you so much everyone, Ophelia now off the list and looks like Felicia will probably be vetoed as well.

So just have to decide between Venetia, Philippa and Sophia sooo hard I like them all!
