yay or nay?

Want a name that's not too common and it's really growing on me.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

" going to talk to Huey" is a way of saying going to be sick where I come from lol! Also makes me think of Huey louie and dewie! We're they Donald ducks nephews?

HappyCamel · 10/08/2012 15:26

Louis is a French name, Louie is as made up as Duey.

Hugh, yes, Huey, no. It's not suitable for an adult, it's a good nn though.

Yep loved that cartoon! Louie is there too though - that's a pretty popular name now?

I guess every name has associations but i don't think once a child is known in their own right people even think of it. Also it's hardly a horrible association.

Nay. Ever heard of Huey, Duey and Looey? Do you really want your child to be associated with the nephews of a cartoon character?

As a nickname for Hugh it's nice, cute even.

As a name in its own right? Hmm would have thought it might get annoying in adulthood.
