How common is Poppy?

It's on my short short list for Dd1 and love it more and more. But I don't want a name that is everywhere.
I don't actually know any Poppy's and know a lot of kids through nursery preschool DS1's. But we are in central London primaries so not many English kids!! How common is it across rest of UK?!

I know two, they are sometimes shortened to Pops!

I was about to say that I knew one in north east London but then remembered that she's actually a Polly. I do know a slightly older one though.

Also, do any poppies you know that nicknames? Can't work out what it would get shortened to!
Pops? Popsy?
