Rowan- is it just a name for redheads or brunettes?

I'm expecting a blonde baby (probably) but I love the name Rowan. Can't help thinking its just a name for redheads or brunettes.

After reading Anne Rices 'The Witching Hour' Rowan is a beautiful blonde witch/doctor. its a lovely name

The only Rowan I ever knew (at school) was what I would call ash-blonde. It's such a beautiful name and it suited her perfectly. Go with the name you love.

It's a tree with lovely red berries. Nothing remotely brunette or redhead about it. I think it's a really nice name - go for it.
