Saw this name recently and thought it was quite unusual - we're not really getting on well picking a girl name but both of us think we like this...any thoughts?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

No, it's an een sound at the end

lilyjune · 12/07/2012 22:53

Don't like Noel particularly but if I spelled it Noleen, it doesn't have to be the feminine version...does it?

Didn't realise it was very common - I think we were aware of the name but never met or heard of anyone called it. :-(

crockydoodle · 12/07/2012 22:50

I'm Irish btw

crockydoodle · 12/07/2012 22:50

Mine is spelt Noeline

PenisVanLesbian · 12/07/2012 22:42

Very common in Ireland, spelt Noeleen though (feminine version of Noel).

Common amongst 45-70 year olds, that is.

Eeeeeek ..... Noooooo .... Sorry but no .... Definitely middle-aged Australian lady name .... Please don't do it!

lilyjune · 12/07/2012 22:35

I was serious Gary - is it that bad?

I didn't know it was Australian? Sounded more Celtic to me?
