Hi Sara13

Maybe a few busy days where there no time to obsess over names will help clear your mind and something will just pop in to your thoughts. If not then to add to the thread I would say I'm personally not wild about Nancy. Of your own list I prefer Erica, Alexandra and Lydia.

I have a 'thing' about a ending girls names and as you seem to like them too (apols for any repeats) how about; Eliza, Tabitha, Anita, Ursula, Ramona. On our girls shortlist at the moment are also; Harriet, Isobel (though so ubiquitous these days it's still lovely) Meredith and Bryony. I also love Iris but we can't have this.

The Claudia we know has a sister called Imogen.

My sis in law took the full 6 weeks to decide on a name for their DD, it seemed like an age to all of us who were waiting at the time but looking back I hardly remember my niece ever being anything other than her name. Don't feel under pressure from those around you, it's none of their business really.

Best wishes.

My youngest didn't have a name for a week and a half, don't be rushed or bullied into a name too soon. :)

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 08/07/2012 09:53

How about Francesca?

Sara13 · 08/07/2012 08:56

Love Estelle/Estella. First name that springs to mind is Penelope. Also like Juliet and Susannah with Claudia. Sorry, not much help. Congratulations on your new baby x.

anniewoo · 07/07/2012 22:29

Is Nancy not David Cameron's daughter's name? Will there be a lot of 'Nancy's' as she grows up?

MerryMarigold · 07/07/2012 22:25

Kristin
Meredith
Tamsin

ThePsychicSatsuma · 07/07/2012 22:23

I LOVE Naomi.

Viviennemary · 07/07/2012 20:51

I like Louisa and Alexandra best from your list. Not so keen on Nancy. I also like Violet, Iris and Pandora.

wheniwasoneihadjustbegun · 07/07/2012 19:44

I have always loved Estella, would you consider this?

FurCough · 07/07/2012 19:40

My DD would have been Marcia had she not been DS2. Please call her Marcia as it's the most beautiful name in the world and I'm not having a third!

Congrats, btw Grin

storytopper · 07/07/2012 19:31

And congratulations on the birth of your DD, btw!

storytopper · 07/07/2012 19:30

I like all the names on your list except Lydia - I knew a very bossy Lydia. I also like Esther and Stella. My gran had a friend called Esther Henrietta - I always thought that was a nice name.

Pollykitten · 07/07/2012 17:53

BrigitBigKnickers · 07/07/2012 17:50
