WDYT of Hamish???

Part of me loves it yet part of me feels like its a but clunky! Weird I know!!

Maybe there was a very popular, clever, handsome, athletic and likeable Hamish in their classes when they were young lads and they've associated the name with their jealousy of him? Hmm :)

I love it - I know a few nice Hamishes. Plus he will get excited when you read him Lighthouse Keeper stories as it features (OK it's the cat, but who cares?).

It is a real name now, BuggerandArse. It gets used all the time. I don't think there's much point in trying to stop that - kind of like pissing in the wind.

At what point does something become a 'real' name, anyway? It's all just pendantry, really.

FWIW, I know a few boys named Hamish. I think it's relatively normal these days.

i had a very special guinea piggy when i was a child called hamish and he was a star with a big personality so go for it!!!!
