Baby being born by planned section on Tuesday and if it's a boy we are going to be calling him Beau but I'm really struggling with middle names, we are using both mine and bf's surnames so perhaps we shouldn't have a middle name at all? Help me!!!!!!

He heGrin all I can think about sometimes is diggity as in Beau diggity which sounds like no diggity the 90's song featuring dr dre!!! I'm alarmingly drawn to jolais too, hormones?? My dad has already decided he hates it and announced he shall be calling him Bob instead. Agree re perhaps a more normal name for a middle in case he doesn't like itSmile

I would suggest Gus, but I think you want actual help & advice, in which case I would go with either honouring a family member or your second choice first name.
Personally, I couldn't imagine giving dc a name "because someone on MN said it sounded nice" Grin

Names with two syllables might be good as Beau has just one, but it depends on how many syllables in the two surnames too really.

Do please give him a middle name- prhaps a more ordinary one? Just in case he's not an unusual name type person?

good luck for Tuesday btw - I had on Emergency section and one planned - the planned one was a much nicer experience than the first :)

no-one "needs" a middle name but it does give him another option if he doesn't like Beau. Is there any family member you'f like to honour?

Otherwise is it something plain (James) or something more quirky (Bear) that you are looking for?
