Geranium3 · 01/07/2012 19:21

love esme,isabella and lilly

AntsMarching · 01/07/2012 19:21

I second Cerys!

VolAuVent · 01/07/2012 19:26

I like Poppy and Lily (with one L) best of your list :) Isabella and Olivia would be next favourite.

Don't like Darwin (too surnamey), Esme (the ezz sounds harsh).

Of those beginning with C I think Cerys is the nicest spelling.

jaffacakehips · 01/07/2012 19:34

Interesting list Pickles

I like all the names on your 2nd list, in order:
Olivia,
Poppy,
Lilly, but i'd only have 1 'L'
Esma,
Isabella

Good Luck

Love love Cerys.
Was going to call DD2 Cerys, but in French it looks too much like cherry.

In order:

Esme
Isabella
Poppy
Cerys
Lilly
Olivia
Caris
Charris
Darwin - this one is a joke, right?

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 01/07/2012 19:47

Yes to Lily, rather than Lilly

FarelyKnuts · 01/07/2012 19:54

My DD is Cerys so am biased :o
Tis a lovely name though!

manicinsomniac · 01/07/2012 23:05

Caris - lovely. Prefer spelling Carys
Ceres - don't really know how to say this
Cerys - love it
Charris - is this also pronounced Carys? Not sure I've heard it otherwise
Darwin - for a girl??
Esme - lovely
Isabella - love it
Olivia - pretty
Poppy - not overly keen
Lilly - it's ok

I would choose Cerys or Isabella. Probably Cerys

mayanna123 · 02/07/2012 11:58

Caris, Carys of Cerys for me. All lovely, underused names.

Please don't use Poppy/Lilly/Olivia/Isabella - there are far too many of those out there already...!!

zogdog · 02/07/2012 16:59

Cerys or Esme. I know a Charis - I would use that spelling (which I think is correct) rather than Charris, which looks very odd to me.

Pickles77 · 02/07/2012 17:05

Adding a new one to the mix- Bridget...
