Flora Beth - Not keen on either
Alys Beth - Pretty.
Alys Florence - Lovely
Hana Elin - Gorgeous
Alys Hana - Gorgeous
Clara Beth - Lovely

Boys
Rhys Evan - Don't like it but only because I teach a difficult Rhys and Evan
Evan Rhys - see above.
Rhodri Ellis - Lovely. Unusual
Ellis Rhodri - Prefer to the other way around. Really lovely.
James Rhys - Nice

rhys, evan and huw (though i know its not on your list, but like hugo) nice. rhodri i hate with a passion - husbands favourite. i like all your girl names except flora that reminds me of marg - though odd spellings so will always be correcting their names.

lisaro · 24/06/2012 17:32

Sorry - can't pick any one, they are all lovely. the only one that doesn't sound 'right' (maybe a bit Waltons?) is Flora Beth. Still lovely names separately though.

TodaysAGoodDay · 24/06/2012 17:14

Hana Elin is beautiful. In fact that's a lovely list you've got there, all except Alys Beth!

CarriMarie · 24/06/2012 17:11

Flora Beth and Rhodri Ellis (like Rhys too).

Lannie33 · 24/06/2012 16:57

For girls love Clara and Alys. Hana also pretty, not as keen on Flora.
For boys love Rhys and Hugo. Evan is solid as well.

Badgerina · 22/06/2012 18:26

Like Hannah. Really don't like the spelling "Hana" Sad

Meglet · 22/06/2012 18:09

Alys Florence. The others seem too short says the person with 3 names that never fit on forms-.

Hugo James for a boy.

kickingKcurlyC · 22/06/2012 18:06

Evan Rhys and Flora Beth. :)

Tessa617 · 22/06/2012 17:58

My DS is Ellis so clearly that is the best name. I like Ellis Lloyd. BTW people here (not UK) think I am a cruel parent for naming my boy "Alice" but perhaps you live somewhere with no Americans different?

fi51 · 22/06/2012 16:06

flora beth
evan rhys
:)

Youreadthebabybooks · 22/06/2012 15:21

ahhh thanks for feedback everyone
yeh bit of a welsh theme...or trying to
i think Rhys Evan / Evan Rhys or Rhodri Ellis for a boy
and
Flora Beth / Alys Florence / Hana Beth for a girl
i mean i have 8 weeks to go and i think i shall see what he/she looks like when they arrive they dont HAVE to have a name straight away do they?!

From your girls names, I like Alys Florence, also like Clara Beth or Clara Fflur, not keen on the spelling of fflur though.
I like the name Hannah, but not spelt Hana.

From your boys list, I love the name Evan or Ellis with Rhys as a mn. I also like James, but it is more common (here anyway). Not keen on Rhodri or Hugo.

MrClaypole · 22/06/2012 12:02

What lovely names you have chosen!

Why not wait till your baby arrives and see which names suit him/her?

FWIW I love Evan Rhys (biased as I have one!) and Clara Beth.

PercyFilth · 22/06/2012 11:58

Alys Clara
Hugo James

I don't like any of the others. :)

Littlecherublegs · 22/06/2012 11:57

Love the names Clara, Beth, Rhys and Ellis - though not sure which combination of first name / middle names are best?!

mumnosbest · 22/06/2012 11:39

ah yes i see the welsh theme. didnt know that was the spelling. still clara fflur is lovey. ethan rhys is nice. id agree with the alys beth/elizabeth comment. Also there are lots of beths. Alys is lovely though

hatebeak · 22/06/2012 11:36

Hana Elin for a girl. I love Fflur but not with Clara.
Evan Rhys or Rhodri Ellis for a boy.

iseenodust · 22/06/2012 11:36

Like all your boys choices especially Rhodri.
Not taken with Alys but like Clara, Flora and Florence.

smokeandglitter · 22/06/2012 11:32

Hana Beth and Flora Alys are lovely, I do like Florence but seen it so much recently whereas Flora's not seemed as popular. If you don't mind that though then Alys Florence sounds pretty. Grin

For boys I like Evan Rhys and Rhodri Ellis. I know a lovely Rhodri.

Youreadthebabybooks · 22/06/2012 10:48

Ha ha id never thought that about Alys Beth but now you say it I can totally see it!

OP posts:
RunnerHasbeen · 22/06/2012 10:43

I think you should remove Alys Beth as it sounds a bit like a jumbled pronunciation of Elizabeth. Rhodri Ellis is lovely, nicer than Rhodri Griff. Lots of lovely names though.

TheDetective · 22/06/2012 09:53

Hana Beth and Evan Rhys.

My son is Ethan Rhys :)
