Hi all,
OH and I really keen on using Esther as a middle name for personal reasons but we arent sure if our fave first name- Seren- really "goes" with it. I quite like that both names mean "Star" as this is just coincindental but not sure about the sounds together. What do you all think?

I think it sounds lovely!

Tbh it doesn't go too well if you're saying it all in one go. If you have a good pause between the two though ( and presumably oly refer to her as Seren) then I don't think it's too much of a problem. She will very rarely use all her name. If you love It i wouldn't let it put me off

Really hard to say if you have a lisp. Also sounds a bit like a garden plant if you say them together.
Both lovely names, but I don't think they work well together.

Our surname is very short- single syllable- and begins with C.
Sigh, naming is so hard!

Esther is my choice for if this supposed boy bump turns out to be a girl. I think Esther Seren flows better but the two are a bit mismatched either way IMO.

I don't think they go well together, sorry.

I would have had Esther as a first name for DC3 had he been a she, and (being Welsh, I like Seren)

Also, how would the initials work with your surname? S.E.???

I think a single syllable middle name, or Esther as a first one.
