DP is especially keen on one of these. But I'm not saying what.

I want to see what the consensus is.

So, over to you.

Oh middle name to be Victoria.

telsa · 22/06/2012 12:59

Molly Molly Molly. Don't like Iris.

smokeandglitter · 22/06/2012 11:36

Iris Grin

lilypainter · 22/06/2012 09:12

I like Emily then Iris then Molly

mylittleprincess3455 · 22/06/2012 09:07

Iris is a beautiful name.

peggyblackett · 22/06/2012 08:16

Hope all goes well today McPhee

saffronwblue · 22/06/2012 05:08

Iris then Emily then Molly. I think Molly will date very fast of those three and sounds like a nickname to me. The others are both classic and beautiful.
But this is your DD so you choose the one you love!

Lannie33 · 22/06/2012 04:12

Emily then Molly then Iris. But if you care about how popular the name is then Emily would be a goner..in that case go for Molly or Iris.

McPhee · 21/06/2012 05:36

Iris Victoria

Emily, Iris, Molly in that order

COCKadoodledooo · 21/06/2012 01:34

Molly/Emily 10 a penny around here, ds1's year group has more than half the girls with names ending in 'y' sounds, so personally I'd go with Iris out of those 3

EllenParsons · 21/06/2012 01:13

Iris! I do like all of them though

mumnosbest · 21/06/2012 00:46

Definately iris. Lots of molly/mollie and emilies

Staceisace · 21/06/2012 00:43

I like Iris best. I had a cat called Molly and there are far too many Emilys out there (I used to love the name as it's a special family name too!)

HappySunflower · 20/06/2012 23:07

Surely you should choose a name that you BOTH like?
It's important it goes with the child's surname really so that needs to be a consideration.

McPhee · 20/06/2012 22:56

I think the consensus seems to be Iris

It could grow on me, I think.

Oh damn it, I still like Molly though Sad

One mnetter has an Iris and Wren. Now I love both of them.

LemonTurd · 20/06/2012 18:10

I love Iris, beautiful, beautiful name. Iris Murdoch is one of my favourite authors.

Emily is classic, timeless, but very popular.

Molly went out of fashion and is now very 'in', so I fear it may not age well, iyswim.

ornellaia · 20/06/2012 18:06

I have a Molly and still love the name, I like Iris too. Emily is perfectly fine but I don't especially like it.

SaraBellumHertz · 20/06/2012 18:04

Not iris .....I have an iris and it is becoming far to popular for my liking.....

Clarabumps · 20/06/2012 18:02

Iris is lovely or Molly is my second choice...But not Emily! I know of 4 emily's born in the last month and a good few more over the past 6 months. VVVVVV Popular... plus it reminds me of Emily Bishop from Corrie years ago.

Iris is so fresh and clean sounding. Not common but not crazy sounding. I love it.

McPhee · 20/06/2012 18:02

At first, I did like Amelie. But DP said it sounded just like Emily Hmm

Iris is beautiful, way ahead of the others for me, although they are nice too, just don't stand out from the crowd for me

McPhee · 20/06/2012 17:57

Baby will have my Surname, DP doesn't know that yet Confused

HappySunflower · 20/06/2012 17:55

Molly goes very well with Victoria in my opinion- better than Emily, and Iris doesn't go at all, I don't think.
But....it really depends on what would fit well with baby's surname.....as that's what they will hear more than their middle name.
