Following on from the Boys thread I decided to start a girls thread.

If I have a baby girl tomorrow(wishful thinking 38 weeks) she will be called Rosalie Jean.

What would you call your Baby Girl?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Magdalena my DH's answer would be, "I'm never ever going to have another so don't even ask. Not even hypothetically - why would I even think about it?"

That guy is no fun! :o

Actually I think a new thread should be launch on if your DH had a baby tomorrow what would he call him/her?
Fun guaranteed (unless my DH is a very rare specimen..)

Kirsty or Mairi

juneau · 07/06/2012 12:58

Alice Emily

Lavinia
(DP hates it)

porridgelover · 07/06/2012 12:45

Azalea or Siofra

VivaLeBeaver · 07/06/2012 12:44

Meredith

If DH could decide we'd have either Chelsea or Connie, both of which I just do not like at all.

MabliD · 07/06/2012 12:07

If poor old DH had no say:
Beatrice
Cora

If I didn't care that it would sound ridiculous with DD's name:
Lisbeth
Betsan

If I didn't care about family cat's bum faces:
Alice
Eirlys
Meredith

DD is only 20 weeks though so I have a long time to change my mind! She got 'THE NAME' though, so another girl would be up to DH more or less. Maybe that's for the best!

PrettyInDecadence · 07/06/2012 10:30

DC2 could, in fact, be born tomorrow and we still can't decide! If it were down to me they would be Romany if a girl but DH not convinced.

TheRealMrsHannigan · 07/06/2012 10:27

Daphne Louisa, I've fallen in love with it but DH is not keen. We are going to TTC at the end of this year so I am working on this one :)

WhatWouldJoanJettDo · 07/06/2012 08:25

Also 38 weeks, also wanted Delphine, also vetoed by husband (boo). Clementine has similarly been vetoed. Man has no imagination.

Audrey Hazel
or
Margaret (Maggie or Betsy) Rachel

BumsyClugger · 07/06/2012 00:12

Nova Iris (but initials would spell NIT :( )

Or

Violet Nova

Or

Vivienne Iris / Iris Vivienne

Or (as its a fantasy baby at the minute)

Aurora Vivienne/Violet nn Rory (DP has said an absolute, definite NO, NEVER)

Just have to persuade him to make another baby (or 3) now Grin

happy2bhomely · 06/06/2012 23:52

I love...

Robin
May
Hannah

I have 2 dd's already (and 2ds's) so am unlikely to ever get to use these. Sad

Collision · 06/06/2012 23:50

Just realised BO would be the initials.

Bo is a pretty name but B.O. = body odour!

Collision · 06/06/2012 23:49

Beatrice Oriele

Oriele is DHs italian grandmas name and I love it.

Springforward · 06/06/2012 23:45

Chloe or Phoebe.

Janoschi · 06/06/2012 23:42

Ooops. Stupid iPhone messed up there!

Sorry.

DumSpiroSpero · 06/06/2012 23:41

Definitely Tessa (Tess) - not sure about middle name, maybe Imogen or Lorelei.

Janoschi · 06/06/2012 23:41

I already have DD Robin (agreeing with IPod that it's way cooler with the I spelling!) and would love any sister to be:

Rixt Louise

or

Reba Anne

PS Adore Olive but my dog got that one!
