A two-syllable name feels more 'balanced' than a three-syllable one when paired with Tabitha.

I don't think Martha is "High Fashion".
I've known a few little Marthas over quite a long period of time - it's not as obviously faddy as, say, Elodie, or as "fashiony" as, for example, Violet. I think it's a pretty classic name, like Anna. And I think it's beautiful. (I don't have one or anything.)
