Help which one? Our fav is jemima but we hate the nicknames and the fact that it may not go down well in the states where we visit often. Opinions greatly appreciated!!

I have a Louisa and she's gorgeous! only met one other in 7 years. We call her lulu for short, our youngest calls her lolly Smile

We have a Jemima and are considering Astrid for dc2 so I think you have splendid taste!
We generally don't shorten Jemima although I do call her Jimmy sometimes
Some of her little friends are just starting to attempt her name though and it tends to come out as 'Mima' which I don't mind at all.

Definitely Astrid. Fab name. Not keen on either of the others.

Astrid is gooooorgous, fun, sexy (when she is older), bold and brave...Natural and feminine. I find the other two names a bit wishy - washy compared to the fab-tactic-ness of Astrid!!!! : )

Our Jemima (my step-Nan) is Ina -which I think is the best Jemima nickname of all.

Londmum · 31/05/2012 21:59

Does anyone have any other nicknames for jemima

I love Astrid but not sure if I'd be brave enough. It's beautiful though and with the right middle and last name could really work.

Louisa.
