I wouldn't have given this name a second thought but overheard someone calling their daughter in the library today and it caught my attention.
My dh was with me at the time and it is the only girls name suggestion that he has responded to positively so far.
What do we think?

Dd1 is Jemima.

I love it - I think it's very cool and not harsh at all - really pretty in a feisty kind of way. Goes well with Jemima too.

I knew an Astrid growing up. She was/is the most beautiful girl, with real ice cool Scandinavian colouring, so in my mind Astrid's are always blonde, slim tall. It is a beautiful name.
