What do people think? Only name both me and DH agree on liking but not sure if too associated with Miley Cyrus?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Looks like Myleene with the n missing. I wouldn't go for it either way.

Littlefish · 28/05/2012 21:15

No. Don't do it.

BonnieBumble · 28/05/2012 21:15

I think its actually quite pretty. I know a Thai lady called Mylee. If I saw it written down I would associate it with Asia rather than Miley Cyrus.

GnocchiNineDoors · 28/05/2012 21:14

My first thought was "cyrus"

I do not like it.

If you like it, though, then it's your choice. At the end of the day, you have to call your child it, not us.

SecretNutellaFix · 28/05/2012 21:14

No.

Just No.

What is it about it that appeals to you?

ShowOfHands · 28/05/2012 21:13

I know a Mylea. It's, um, not great.

nizlopi · 28/05/2012 21:13

Awful, just awful.

I can't actually think of words or sentences strong enough to show just how bad this name is. Please do not call your child this. It is stupid.

No.

Lunarlyte · 28/05/2012 21:11

Sorry, I immediately thought of Miley Cyrus - a name which was a mispronounciation of 'smiley' made by her when she was a child.

What about Myleene? Or Maia/Maiya/Maya? (pronounced may-yah)

lovemygirlivy · 28/05/2012 20:41

I personally don't like it - but if you and dh agree like it then go for it.
Marley is nice too.

tummytickler · 28/05/2012 20:38

I think it's horrible. Sorry.

scentednappyhag · 28/05/2012 20:32

Sorry, DH* stupid eyesight!

scentednappyhag · 28/05/2012 20:32

Not my cup of tea personally, but if you and DP agree you both like it, then it's perfect for you Smile
