It is suggested on some misguided baby name threads, how do you say it?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
BoysWillGrow · 22/05/2012 22:23

Nev-vay-er
My nieces name actually, an I like it. I won't even dignify it with a response to your sad piss taking though, just think it's a bit sad that some people have only come on here to mock, or bizarrely look down on those who call their children certain names. Surely you should look to yourselves and realize the only problem with the name lays with you.

Trestle · 22/05/2012 22:19

":o at christian rock band"

Some of them are quite good actually, though some aren't (just like all music really)

thisisyesterday · 22/05/2012 22:16

i might go even more cryptic and call mine Dachshund

thisisyesterday · 22/05/2012 22:16

Susej and Dog

hahahahahahaha

bronze · 22/05/2012 22:13

Why not name your child Dog?

thisisyesterday · 22/05/2012 22:11

i take your Tsiehta, (pronounced Si-Etta) and raise you Ssentiw Shavohej- pronounced Ellie

BreakingBad · 22/05/2012 22:10

muminthecit susej is a bit too much like sausage.

How about elbib? Cool name for a boy Wink

muminthecity · 22/05/2012 22:08

Perhaps when friend has her next baby I will suggest Susej, Noigiler or Yloh, as she seems to like backwards religious names Grin

BreakingBad · 22/05/2012 22:07

pmsl@thisisyesterday

I am having twins - a boy called Evol (no, no, not Evil, silly! Its Love backwards. Obviously. Duuuurrrrr) and a girl called Rats. Yes, Rats.

muminthecity · 22/05/2012 22:05

My friend has a DD called Nevaeh, pronounced Nuh-VAY-a. It's a shit name but my friend is lovely really, just has crap taste in names.

In protest, I shall name my next DD Tsiehta, pronounced Si-Etta.

EBDTeacher · 22/05/2012 22:01

Love it thisisyeaterday. Me, you Yppah and Looc can go to soft play together if u lik.

PinkChampagneandStrawberries · 22/05/2012 21:59

Have sorry Blush

PinkChampagneandStrawberries · 22/05/2012 21:59

Yes it's very strange I gave the think about it every time I say/write it Confused

BreakingBad · 22/05/2012 21:57

I know of a woman who has a child called Neveah (neh-vay-uh). She also has a daughter called Taome which stands for The Apple Of My Eye.

Boak, boak, triple boak.

thisisyesterday · 22/05/2012 21:56

Nevaeh, with a silent aeh?
that's even more bizarre

thisisyesterday · 22/05/2012 21:55

if i ever have another baby and it's a boy i will call it Looc
people will think it's just an unusual spelling of Luke but it will really be COOL spelled backwards

then they will see how cool i am. and my baby.

or something

PinkChampagneandStrawberries · 22/05/2012 21:53

As in Eve with a N at the start

PinkChampagneandStrawberries · 22/05/2012 21:52

The one I know is pronounced Neev

RancerDoo · 22/05/2012 21:50

Anyone

Effing ipad

RancerDoo · 22/05/2012 21:49

It's just ridiculous.

I want to know why none would think spelling heaven backwards was a nice thing. Surely heaven backwards = hell (a bit like playing old LPs backwards and hearing satanic wafflings).

Booette · 22/05/2012 21:45

Someone I know has a Nevaeh. She pronounces it Ne-vay (e as in egg)

Get0rfMoiLand · 22/05/2012 20:17

And Dorothea and Theodora are the same name aren't they (slightly inverted).

OP posts:
ZuzuBailey · 22/05/2012 20:14

This isn't a new trend.

What about Senga (Agnes)?

Lufwagnikcuf.

CrumpettyTree · 22/05/2012 20:08

The pronunciation of Legna is quite nice. ie. "Layna." But only if it is was spelt Layna. If it was spelt "Legna" then everyone would think it was pronouced Legg - na, which is just silly.

ButterPecanMuffin · 22/05/2012 19:34

Yeah it was Sonny Sandoval from POD.
