My nephew is Percy - love it, an old family name.

I also like Emerald, but none of the others. But then all my kids have boring over popular names so what the hell do I know

CupOfBrownJoy · 09/05/2012 20:55

Don't want biblical as they're over done IMO. Really interested in Gertrude. Sorry about Goldy. Watched too much Blue Peter growing up!

Seraphina is lovely. Saffron is too Ab Fab. Hadn't thought of the Downton Percy for a girl. Is it quite unisex now? That would put us off.

Yes Pesto. Fenton. That's where I got the idea from.

Isn't Ruby quite popular? I like Sheba a lot. DH thinks it's cat food so vetoed. Liking Nimrod. Goldy is too Labrador. Saul is a possible but Samson will become Sam - too many of those.

I like Percy how about Persephone for a girl? Sapphire is also nice, have you considered Seraphina or Saffron?

PestoPenguin · 09/05/2012 20:35

Fenton? Like the viral youtube shouty dog video that the whole world has been going on about? Seriously? See

Not sure about any of the others either, sorry.
