James is ok.
Love Tristan.
Love Noah.

Dorothea is lovely.
Penelope is great.
Marie is ok.
Tabitha is awful.

I feel similarly to Percy. James is the best of your boys (not as good as Duncan obviously) and Dorothea best of the girls. I prefer Dorothy though. SiL is Dorothea and I don't like her.

James - timeless classic with plenty of variation options, can't go wrong.
Tristan - I also think this is a bit wet, not sure why though.
Noah - I detest. Someone on here said it sounded like someone farting down a drainpipe and they were spot on.

Dorothea - very pretty & elegant and again, plenty of room for manoeuvre.
Penelope - meh. One of those names which is never used in full, in my experience. Except if it's an author or cartoon character.
Marie - any form of Mary is a winner, but this one does have ambiguous pronunciation.
Tabitha - it's such a shame that this lovely Biblical name is inextricably associated with a cat in a dress and apron.
