Which do you prefer? I have loved Clementine for ages....but Tabitha is a recent love, which I think (correct me if I am wrong) is a biblical name, this is a positive for me as I have a son with a biblical name already.

As you've decided on a middle name, I think Clementine Veronica sounds better than Tabitha Veronica. Just my opinion though!

In the end won't you have to wait until you meet her to be sure?

Rhirhii · 10/05/2012 15:59

Tabitha :)

Pelvicflooragogo · 10/05/2012 13:22

Love Tabitha - my DD's mn as DH not keen on Tabby as shortening -I always thought it was rather cool and know two grown up Tabithas. Great name!

jsabine89 · 09/05/2012 20:47

Love Clementine. Pronouned -tyne. Tabitha is sweet as well but Clementine is more sophisticated.

somewhereinsummertime · 09/05/2012 18:25

Clementine (Clemmie). Lovely.

Tabitha for us older folk was the name of a silly witch in a 70s sitcom.

tunaday · 09/05/2012 18:15

I love them both equally which isn't much help.

Eglu · 09/05/2012 12:17

I love love love both names and really wanted Clementine for DD, DH had completely vetoed Tabitha. I think you are less likely to come across anothe Clementine that another Tabitha so I think I would swing that way. Also very Envy as my DD did not get either of those names.

Psammead · 09/05/2012 12:15

Tabitha. Lovely Smile

fondantfancier · 09/05/2012 08:30

Clementine, because I don't want Tabitha to get to over used!
both lovely though.

ditavonteesed · 08/05/2012 20:24

I am very biased but Tabitha is a fantastic name, tabi for short, or tabs. dd1 would agree wholeheartedly. Grin

MummysLittleSunbeams · 08/05/2012 20:21

Tabitha. I already have a Kitty so that name is out of bounds for me if dc3 turns out to be a girl! Grin

DottieRose · 08/05/2012 20:15

I think that I will go with Tabitha Veronica Juno if this little sprog turns out to be a girl!! Though I will probably change my mind again...I just enjoy this naming thing so much

I'd vote for Tabitha, but then I named my DD after my first cat so I may not be the best judge Grin

Badgerina · 30/04/2012 18:43

Tabitha Clementine Veronica LastName. Is my suggestion (but then, my DS has 3 middles names...)

SweetPea3 · 30/04/2012 18:36

Like Tabitha but LOVE Clementine. Would love to use it with the French pronunciation for future DD. I believe Clementine Churchill's name was pronounced this way, so I like to think it's not too affected ;)

DottieRose · 30/04/2012 16:33

Thank you for all the comments....its given me plenty to think of! I like the idea of Tabitha Clementine however I want to use Veronica as a mn after my mother!

Clementine.

AceOfBase · 30/04/2012 14:19

Tabitha. It reminds me of the little girl from "bewitched" she was vv cute

furmulaic · 30/04/2012 14:16

Clementine is less popular. I'd go for that.

I prefer Clementyne pronunciation as I know a woman with a Clementine and a broad Lancashire accent who pronounces it Cle-mon-teen "like the French" and it sounds awful.

squoosh · 30/04/2012 10:42

Tabitha

Justfeckingdoit · 30/04/2012 09:41

Love both and have one already, with DD2 (if there is one) down for the other.

Ramekin · 30/04/2012 09:31

We had both of these on our shortlist for DD2.

When we were discussing Clementine, DD1 (aged 3 at the time) shrieked with laughter, she thought it was the funniest joke she'd ever heard Hmm. When she had recovered the power of speech, she thought she'd add to the conversation, and spluttered "let's call the baby Lemon!" before dissolving once more into fits of delighted giggles.

We reluctantly crossed Clementine from the list. I still think it is pretty though.

kateg27 · 30/04/2012 09:24

I'm expecting a girl in July, we have decided to call her Tabitha Clementine. So obviously I love both names and Tabitha is my favourite.

poppy283 · 30/04/2012 08:00

I think Clementine is a lovely name, but for me it's a fruit, also I think Clemmie is too much like clammy, as in hands, eugh.

So Tabitha wins imo

MrsJohnDeere · 29/04/2012 21:32

Clementine, nn Clem.
