If DH likes X and I like Y, what might we both love?

Thanks again to all those of you who helped me to get over my wobble. We are back to being set on Sebastian. But what for a middle...?

We want something fresh-sounding, slightly unusual, possibly naturey, and fairly short.

Both like Leif but there are certain initials that won't do and L is one of them. Other no-no's are C, K, D, R.

So, I love Rowan (but it's an R), Archer and Frey

DH likes Beck and Harper

Any ideas that we both might like that meet our criteria?! Or which do you like out of our ideas (if any)?

Thank you all again.

Abby thanks, I like Sage a lot. Made DH read your list and got 'noooooo' and a shaking head again! I'm going a bit loopy here.

Math I agree, bloody football! I read him your list and he shook his head at them all :( None stood out to him as being 'the one'.

Thanks Little. Like Jack out of those but it is not unusual enough!

Keep them coming please, it must be out there somewhere.

He needs to shake football out of his head. Beck and Harper are very Beckham-ish.

Love River but R again
Not keen on Hunter
Finn, as above

But definitely on the right lines!

Hmm thank you...

Grayer is quite cute, but not sure!
Know a little Fin
Like Forest but not sure if it's too like DS1's middle name, with I don't really want to reveal - but it is a possibility - will run it past DH
Aiden - know a little Aidan too!
Luka/Luca - as with Luke/Lucas

Keep 'em coming ladies!

I love James and it is DH's middle name, but he doesn't like it :(

Sebastian James? Might sound a bit posh Confused but still nice. I love the name Sebastian , btw.

therewasalittlegirl · 06/04/2012 17:45

Thanks...

Well...

Heath - This is what I call my friend Heather (pronounced diff but same spelling!)
Huxley - I like the sound of (even though it reminds me of the big curly-haired dude from Lost), but DH said no
Zak - Like this and love Isaac (but DH said no! Grrr)
Jude - We love but as said in previous post, my friend has used it as a middle name for her DS recently, so DH says it now feels 'used'
Gray - Like the sound of but not what the colour grey symbolises (fussy yes!)
Laurence - not keen (quite like Laurie, but again an L)
Jem - reminds me of the Barbie like doll
Luke/Lucas - Know a little Lucas and a big Luke so no
Bram - not keen (quite like Bran though! ha)
Asher - love the meaning but DH has a friend called Ash, and I prefer Archer as it has more umph!
Jay - not keen sorry
Robin - Like but can't do R (just doesn't feel like the perfect name with any of those initials!)

Will try nymbler, thank you.

Any more?!

Robin (another R)

GoGoBananas · 06/04/2012 16:44

Try Nymbler. Put in names you like and it suggests similar names.
