Lovely.

Just don't use it as a sibling name with Henry.

TerrierMalpropre · 05/04/2012 21:41

Lovely. Underused now and ready for a comeback. On holiday this year we met a family with a Peter, Elizabeth and Lucy. Absolutely perfect names, IMO.

Love it! Dt2's middle name.

tummytickler · 05/04/2012 20:55

I love it. It is one of ds's middle names, and I often wish we had saved it to use as a first name.

wigglesrock · 05/04/2012 20:51

Its lovely, my husband absolutely loves it, its his favourite name ever Grin, we have 3 daughters but it was in his running for a name if we had boys.

BBQJuly · 05/04/2012 20:44

Yes I like it. It's underused and classic.

mistressploppy · 05/04/2012 13:13

Yeah, I know - the fart thing. But it's pretty appropriate in our family Grin

I can never get past the fact that it means 'to fart' in French.

AKMD · 05/04/2012 13:07

In principle, yes. It's a classic name and one that isn't off the scale on the most popular charts at the moment.

I wouldn't personally use it as it's the name of someone I know and don't like :(
