Can we use DD's middle name for baby #3 (if it's a girl!)?

As above really, we are really struggling for a girls name and both LOVE dd's middle name. Can we use it, or is it a bit weird?

Oh nothing weird or unusual ... Charlotte.
Hmmmm, I think this is what we were thinking, just needed to hear it from someone else!

I wouldn't.

How will your (maybe) DD3 feel in years to come you didn't like her name enough to use it as dd2's first name, but couldn't think of anything different to give her something that is hers and unique.

Can't resist tho' what IS the name?

Just to add.... we have come up with other ideas, but it feels like they are compromises i.e. names that we both 'quite like' or think are 'ok' whereas we both really love dd's middle name - I'm not actually sure that helps at all! Blush

Nah, go for it. Maybe a little bit odd these days but nice in a way too if you ask me Smile

I have heard of a family with 16 DCs (wartime era) and the oldest and the youngest were both called George.
